Affiliate marketing has become one of the most effective methods of online advertising for companies. It also happens to be one of the easiest ways anyone with a website can make money online.

Affiliate Marketing is an agreement between a merchant (Future Aids in this case) and you - the website owner (the affiliate). As a webmaster, you place a link from your site to ours, thus promoting our products and sending extra orders our way. In return, we will pay you a generous 10% commission on sales generated via your affiliate links - and on future orders placed by new customers you refer to our site.

An affiliate marketing relationship such as this is a win-win situation for everyone involved. The money you'll earn from selling our products can help pay the bills, thus freeing you up to do what you do best: building and maintaining a top-notch website! Your site visitors will benefit from finding a trusted resource where they can purchase daily living aids, talking clocks and watches, Braille writing supplies, tactile games, Braille books, talking software, and so much more. And we'll appreciate having some new customers to serve; and will enjoy distributing more of our advertising dollars back into the blind and visually impaired community.

Whether you're an individual who maintains a small informative website as a hobby, or a large nonprofit agency on the lookout for a great new fundraising idea, our affiliate program will be a perfect fit. Since blind people - and their friends and family members - routinely purchase a whole host of Braille and talking products for daily living and recreational purposes, they're bound to like the idea of supporting your site by bringing their business to us. What's more, we take care of the whole customer experience from start to finish: we manufacture and stock all products for sale ourselves; we regularly update our site with new product write-ups and photos; we take down, charge, process, and ship all orders in-house, and we handle all customer service inquiries after the sale. Before you sign up, there are a few more points we need to quickly go over:

Your website. To join our affiliate program, you must have a real, bona fide website, which will be thoroughly reviewed by our Marketing Team prior to your acceptance into the program. Your site must have substantial, unique, or otherwise beneficial content, and must be related in some way to the products and services we offer for blind and visually impaired people.

Referral tracking. Once all set up, our reliable, rigorously-tested referral-tracking system will painstakingly record all sales made as a result of your link(s) to our site. Please remember, however, that we will only pay you when customers proceed to make a purchase online or over the phone. Your unique referral link will have your affiliate ID built right in; so customers will need to do absolutely nothing to indicate the referring site when placing orders on our website - our system will automatically make note of this. Customers are also welcome to place orders over the phone via our toll-free number, and you will still receive credit for the sale, provided the shopper mentions he or she found us thanks to your website before the end of the call.

Remuneration. Future Aids will pay you an incredible 10% commission on all sales you generate with your affiliate links. You will be compensated for this percentage of all gross sales, less shipping charges and merchandise returns. In other words, you'll receive 10 cents of every dollar customers spend with us, except in the following three cases. (A) Because we charge our customers actual post office or UPS shipping rates, and do not incorporate any handling fees into the S&H cost, we cannot pay you extra when a customer spends more to have an order shipped express or even overnight. (B) Because Perkins products (such as Braillers) are sold at cost, you will not be credited for these items, though compensation will be due for other items on the same order. (C) If a customer purchases products via your affiliate links, and then later returns the items, your affiliate account will be debited for the amount of the commission we initially paid you on that particular sale.

Abuse. We reserve the right to suspend or perminantly terminate any affiliate account that is not, at our soul descression, acting in the best intersts of Future Aids. This includes, but is by no means limited to, violations of our privacy policy, false advertising, inaccurate claims, or use of the affiliate program to purchase products for your organization or the persons employed or served by it.

Payment Terms. You will be paid monthly for all commission sales earned during the previous month, assuming the balance in your affiliate account is $50.00 or greater. If, in any given month, you earn less than $50.00 worth of commissions, the balance in your account will be held and carried forward until such time as it reaches the minimum pay-out amount.

Payment Methods. Affiliates are paid exclusively via PayPal.com. Getting paid via PayPal allows you to instantly receive your funds electronically, without waiting for a check to arrive or clear.
